Daniel McKorley is a Ghanaian business magnate, founder, and chief executive officer of McDan Group of Companies. With over ten years of entrepreneurial experience, McKorley has achieved remarkable success in various industries. In 2016, he was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the Ghana Aviation Awards.
Born on June 16 in Labadi, Accra, McKorley attended his primary school in the same community. He continued his education at the senior high school level. After high school, he gained admission to the University of Ghana, but unfortunately had to drop out due to financial constraints.
Despite this setback, McKorley didn’t give up on his education. He later earned an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) and a Certified Degree in Entrepreneurship from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He also holds diplomas in Leadership and Transport & Logistics.

Daniel McKorley is the CEO of McDan Group of Companies, and he began his entrepreneurial journey by founding the McDan Shipping Company in November 1999. The company, headquartered in Accra, has expanded its operations to include branches in Tema and Takoradi.
